ACE trains celebrates over 17 years of top quality O gauge in 2 and 3 rail model train production
and is the leading Company of its kind in the UK which has led the market in virtually all the years
it has been existence.
Nearly all ACE trains offerings have been designed in England and manufactured in the best
factories throughout the world culminating with our current production in a dedicated factory
in China which has reached new heights.
ACE trains started with a range of Hornby replicas originally designed in Liverpool but updated
mechanically. Everything else was initiated, designed and warranted by a closely knit team
of unrivalled experience in England.
Mr Allen Levy the founder of ACE trains previously was involved with toys and models was in
founding New Cavendish Books in the early 1970's followed by The London Toy & Model Museum
in 1980 - the former acknowledged as the leading publisher in the field of Toy and Model history
the latter a world class Museum that won many awards.
Over the years ACE trains have produced most of the premier types of steam locomotives that
ran on British tracks from the A4 through to their current offering of Coronation and Duchess
class locomotives. In addition ACE trains ongoing range of coaches and goods stock in tinplate
continues there tradition of being both nostalgic and producing all metal products that are
robust and practical to run in all conditions indoor or outside, their finish is unrivalled.
ACE trains have a full range of new coach designs and locomotives for 2014 and onwards which
include a Britannia, Black 5 and Jubilee Class plus many others to be announced.
ACE trains have a first class reputation throughout the world and their after-sales service
is second to none.
