How to place an order

Placing an order with The Station Masters Rooms is easy!

There are three ways that items can be purchased from us, Buy Now, the shopping basket or by making an offer.

Below are the instructions on how to proceed with an order using each of the three different methods.

Expand Buy Now

Using the Buy Now method is by far the quickest method to make a single purchase.
  1. Buy now buttonOnce you have selected the item you wish to purchase, you will find a green "Buy Now" button on either the listing's page or the product page. Click the Buy Now button.
  2. Account login screen shotIf you are not logged into your account you are now taken to the Account Login page.
    • If you have previously registered an account with us simply log in and we will use your registered details to supply the delivery information.
    • Alternatively fill in the new customer form, choose whether you wish to register with us and accept the terms and conditions and click submit.
    If you are logged in you will be taken straight to the Order Confirmation page.
  3. Order confirmation screen shotWhen we have your delivery details you are taken to the Order Confirmation page, where you will see your delivery address and the item ordered. Once you have checked that the details are correct click the Confirm Order button.
  4. You may, however, wish buy more items. You can do this by clicking the 'continue shopping' button or by selecting a catagory from the left hand menu. Your item will be added to the shopping cart along with any new items you select.
That's it, for now.

E-mail invoice screen shotWe will now process your order and send an invoice, including shipping charges, to your e-mail address. The invoice will have a link to our online payment pages.

Click the link and fill out the payment form and your goods will be sent to you.

Expand The Shopping Basket

The shopping basket allows you to add multiple items to your cart to purchase in one go, this often saves you money on the delivery charges.
  1. Add to basket buttonOn the product page, click the "Add to basket" button. If this is the first item added you will see a blue menu item "Shopping Basket" added to the top of the left hand menu.
  2. To add more items to your basket simply click the "Add to basket" button on other product pages.
  3. When you have selected all of your products click the "Shopping Basket" link in the left hand menu, this will take you to the Shopping Basket page where you may remove items if you have changed your mind about them.
  4. Click the "Check Out" button to proceed with the order.

Expand Make an Offer

When making an offer to purchase an item is not the same as going through the checkout. You are asking the Station Master to consider an alternative price other than the listed sales price.

Whilst you are negotiating with the Station Master the item you are interested in will not be reserved and if someone else offers the asking price, this will be accepted.

  1. Make Offer buttonOnce you have selected the item you wish to make an offer on, you will find a blue "Make Offer" button on either the listing's page or the product page. Click the "Make Offer" button.
  2. Make offer form screen shotSimply enter your name and e-mail address, then edit the information in the message box with your offer.
  3. Click the "Send Mail" button.
An e-mail with your offer will be sent to the Station Master and he will get back to you as soon as possible.

Payment

Due to the size and weight of the items for sale it is very difficult to calculate the cost of shipping your packages. Therefore, to be able to offer you the best prices for shipping, we manually calculate the shipping charges and then send you an invoice with the total cost of your order.

There are several ways to pay for your order once you have received your invoice. See below.

We do accept credit and debit card payments via our secure online service.

Once your order has been processed you will find a 'Click Here' button, simply click the button to receive a secure pay link request email invoice.

We are happy to accept PayPal payments.

Once your order has been processed you will find a 'Pay Now' button listed here, simply click the button to make your payment.
